This comic was created for a comic art class that I took in my final year at university. The prompt was urban legends but I chose to not take such a 'darker' route that urban legends can often take. So I decided to dig a little deeper and saw that our due date was around Valentine's Day. This holiday also does not have a solid story of origination, so I took that as an opportunity to make it the subject of my project.
It was here that I decided to make this project dedicated to my (now) fiancé who you will see depicted in the last pages of this comic. This was also a part of his Valentine's Day present (that he loved so much!). And yes, I am a sucker for Pride and Prejudice.
